600 gm kentang (dikupas kulit)
1 cawan tepung gandum
2 sudu besar gula
1 sudu kecil garam
Cara:
- Rebus kentang hingga empuk bersama garam.
- Toskan kentang dan biarkan sejuk.
- Lenyekkan kentang sampai hancur.
- Adun kentang bersama tepung dan gula dan uli hingga sebati.
- Buat bentuk seperti gelang.
- Goreng sehingga masak.
- Masak gula dan air dalam kuali yang lain
- Didihkan gula sehingga pekat.
- Masukkan kuih yang telah digoreng dan kacau sehingga rata.
- Biarkan untuk seketika dan tutupkan api.
Potato Doughnut Recipe:
600 gm Potato, peeled
1 cup all purpose flour
2 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Glaze:
120 gm white sugar
500ml water
Method:
- Put potatoes into a saucepan. Add salt and water until potatoes covered. Bring to boil until done - a fork can easily be poked through them.
- Toss of the water and let the potatoes to cooled down to room temperature.
- In a large bowl, mash the potatoes until fine.
- Add flour and sugar and knead together to form a firm dough.
- Roll the dough on floured surface for 1/2" thickness. Cut with a floured doughnut cutter.
- Heat oil in wok until hot and deep fry the doughnuts.
- Drain on paper towel and put aside.
- Put water and sugar in another saucepan. Add the fried doughnuts into the pan to glaze it completely with the thick syrup, remove and let it cool to room temperature.
